How to apply hand pallet strapping to pallets, cartons and parcels:
Option 1
Use hand strapping tools.
You will need either a tensioner and a sealer tool or a combination tool. (Which is a combination of a tensioner and sealer tool.)
You will need 12x25mm semi open metal seals to bind the strapping.
Option 2
The old fashioned way.
By using metal buckles or plastic buckles and doing it by hand.
All of the tools are detailed below so here is a quick explanation of each tools function:
- Hand Sealing Tool: Used for obtaining a strong seal when used with steel seals. All you have to do is place the seal over the strapping apply tension and then crimp the seal in place. This makes sure you get a tight seal every time and that the strapping stays tense and secure.
- Hand Tensioner Tool: Used to get maximum tension on the strapping which improves the stability of your loads. All you have to do is feed the strapping through and push the handle down to tension the strapping.
