Water activated tape, also known as gummed paper tape, is a 100% environmentally friendly solution. The reinforced version of this tape is proven to be the strongest tape in the market once applied and is not penetrable without tearing the tape. It is used with gummed paper tape dispensers which are available in our machinery section. Standard packaging tape has good adhesive qualities, but when the edges come away it can be peeled off easily, often leaving damage behind on the box or carton. Gummed paper tape does not come away easily because of the natural starch adhesive that quickly and strongly bonds to the boxes natural fibres creating a super strong seal. If the box is tampered with during transit you would know as it is extremely difficult to peel off, leaving significant and noticeable damage. This is why it is a preferred choice for online sellers and fulfilment operations.
